Jempson’s is an independent family owned business established in Peasmarsh, East Sussex in June 1935 by George Thomas Jempson.

We currently operate six supermarkets and convenience stores, three Post Office counters, Pharmacy, petrol station and six cafés in and around East Sussex.

Jempson’s has been a proud member of Nisa since 1982 and has been the recipient of many awards and accolades including the converted ‘Independent Retailer of the Year’.

We are keen advocators of the Keep Sunday Special campaign and pride ourselves with our relationships with customers and suppliers.
